The main duties and function of Agriculture Department is to explore and create potential areas for crop production and to increate yield per unit area by adopting  new technologies, replacement of low yielding local varieties of crops with HYV, Land development etc. for maximum production per unit area.

The following are the particulars and functions of Officers and Staffs under the Department :-

He is the Head of the Department and all works and administration under the Department is carried out and performed through his instruction.

She tooks over all incharge of all clerical works, O.E, TA/DA, received and issue of all Departmental concerned is carried out by her.

All works relating to Computer concerned, email and fax relating to the Department is assign to him/her.

She prepares monthly Salary of Staff under the Department, Last Pay Certificate (LPC) and other relating to financial matters.

She maintains all financial matters, deposit/withdraw Salary, Cheque, Cash Book etc.
