PR No. 65/2026–2027

Lawngtlai, June 1, 2026: Classes for the 3rd batch of students under the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) LADC Study Centre commenced today at 10:30 a.m. A total of 20 students joined the batch. The inauguration was attended by Information & Public Relations Officer Vanlalhnema, who also serves as the Nodal Officer for NIELIT.

Speaking on the occasion, Pu Vanlalhnema said that in today’s world it has become increasingly difficult to progress in any field without at least basic computer knowledge. Therefore, he encouraged all students enrolled at the LADC NIELIT Study Centre to study diligently and acquire practical computer skills that can be effectively used for employment and livelihood opportunities.

He further stated that the CCC qualification is now required for many government jobs, and similar requirements may soon become applicable within LADC as well. As a result, young people seeking employment must become proficient in computer usage.

He also emphasized that even those already employed in government service will increasingly need computer skills to keep pace with technological advancements and modern workplace requirements. Therefore, preparing in advance by acquiring such skills is highly important.
