Lawngtlai, February 23, 2026: Today at 3:30 PM, the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Lai Autonomous District Council, Pu C. Lalsawmzuala, chaired a meeting in his office to discuss the organization of a Joint Futsal Tournament. The tournament is being proposed to strengthen coordination and deepen mutual cooperation between State Government departments and LADC departments.

The meeting was led by Pu C. Lalsawmzuala, where initial plans and arrangements for the tournament were discussed. An Organizing Committee was constituted as follows:

1. Chairman: Pu Donny Lalruatsanga, Bawrhsap, Lawngtlai

2. Co-Chairman: Pu C. Hrangthianga, Executive Member, SYS Department, LADC

3. Secretary: Pu K. Lalthanzara, Executive Secretary, LADC

4. Assistant Secretary: Pu Joseph Lalhmingthanga Chinzah, Lawngtlai District Football Association

In addition, two members from the LADC Officers’ Association, two members from Officers’ Club Lawngtlai, one member from the Lawngtlai District Sports Association, and Pu Andrew C. Lalhmunsiama, SYO, LADC, have also been appointed as members of the Organizing Committee.

The meeting was attended by Pu C. Hrangthianga (EM, SYS), Pu K. Lalthanzara (ES, LADC), Pu Joseph Lalhmingthanga (LDFA), and other officials. The Organizing Committee has been entrusted with finalizing the date, venue, and other necessary arrangements for the successful conduct of the tournament.
