PR No. 29/2025-2026.

LAWNGTLAI, August 29, 2025 – The 11th Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) Emergency Session to be held from August 29 to September 2, 2025, commenced at 10:30 a.m. today.

During this session, Pu N. Zangura, Chief Executive Member (CEM), LADC, presented three official businesses, which includes:

(1) Budget of the Lai Autonomous District Council for 2025-2026. 

(2) Supplementary Demand for Grants of the Lai Autonomous District Council for 2024-2025.

(3) Schedule of Demand for Grants of the Lai Autonomous District Council for 2025-2026. 

This Emergency Session of the LADC is convened in accordance with Rule 32(6) LADC (CCB etc.) Rules, 2010, upon the initiative of the Governor of Mizoram. Since the business only consists of the LADC Budget for 2025-2026 and Election of the Deputy Chairman, the LADC Chairman, Pu VL. Hmuaka, announced that the House will continue on Monday, September 1, 2025, at 10:30 a.m, hence, the session was adjourned.
