Lawngtlai, September 8, 2026: Deputy Chief Executive Member, LADC, Pu Sanghuliana Mualchin, today graced the LDFA President Cup 2nd Division Tournament as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the tournament. He also delivered an encouraging speech to the participating players.

Speaking on the occasion, Pu Sanghuliana Mualchin stated that the Government is making significant efforts towards the development and promotion of sports among the youth, particularly in the field of football. He said that the LADC Government has been making earnest efforts through the SYS Department by establishing an Academy and extending assistance to the best of its ability.

He therefore encouraged the football players to give their best, make full use of the opportunities available to them, and strive for success in their sporting careers.

The programme was chaired by Pu Lalnunpuia, Executive Member, LDFA, while Pu Joseph Lalhmignthanga Chinzah, Hon'ble Secretary, LDFA, presented the report. Certificates were also presented to the newly qualified MFA Referee Training candidates.

During the programme, Executive Member, LADC, Pu C. Hrangthianga, who is in charge of the SYS Department, released the LDFA Disciplinary Code 2026.
