PR No. 50/2026–2027

Lawngtlai, May 19, 2026: On May 18, 2026, the Deputy Chief Executive Member of LADC in charge of Primary Education, Sanghuliana Mualchin, visited Vartekkai Primary School and Middle School. During the visit, he held an interactive session with teachers and students and listened to the various needs and concerns raised by them, assuring that efforts would be made to address them as far as possible.

Speaking on the occasion, Pu Sanghuliana Mualchin expressed happiness at having the opportunity to spend quality time with the teachers and students. He urged teachers not to compare themselves with other government employees, but rather to show greater dedication and commitment, as the future of children rests in their hands. He stated that because of teachers, many families are able to attain higher social standing, while at the same time, due to negligence, promising individuals may also fail to reach their full potential. Therefore, he stressed that teachers should never be careless and must work diligently and sincerely regardless of whether the number of students in the school is large or small.

He further said that the government led by Chief Executive Member C. Lalsawmzuala places great importance on education, and since the government is making every possible effort to improve the sector, teachers must also actively contribute and cooperate.

He reminded teachers that they serve as role models for students and advised them to be careful in their conduct, appearance, and daily life. He also cautioned them against becoming involved in political matters and encouraged them to maintain good cooperation with Village Councils and NGOs.

The Deputy CEM was accompanied by Pu Lalnunzawmpuia, Dy. EEO P/S, LADC, along with other officials.
