On May 20, 2026, he visited Lungtian Primary School-I, Lungtian Primary School-III, Government Middle School Lungtian, Public Middle School Lungtian-II, and Rawlbuk Primary School-II.

As it coincided with the LIKBK Kohhran Naupang Pawl Day, students were absent from the schools. However, he held interaction sessions with teachers and local leaders at each school, discussing ways to improve the education sector and encouraging the teaching staff.

During his address, Pu Sanghuliana Mualchin stated that the teaching profession is a highly respected and honorable calling. He said that children look up to teachers as role models, and therefore teachers should never be careless in their conduct, behavior, or personal discipline. He urged them to remain sincere, hardworking, trustworthy, and to uphold the dignity of their profession. He also advised teachers to stay away from political involvement and not to treat teaching merely as a means of livelihood. He further encouraged them not to become overly occupied with village or church activities in ways that could affect their professional responsibilities.

He emphasized that education and knowledge are essential for the progress and development of society and the nation, and therefore every possible effort should be made in this regard. He encouraged teachers to regard their profession as a service entrusted to them by God and to prepare children to walk on the right path in life. He also stressed the importance of guiding students away from drugs and other social evils while teaching them good moral values in schools.

Additionally, he encouraged teachers to maintain good cooperation with Village Councils and NGOs, and urged them to become promoters not only of education but also of cleanliness and proper sanitation.

Pu Lalnunzawmpuia, Dy. EEO (P/S), along with local leaders, accompanied the Dy. CEM during the visits.
