Lawngtlai, September 19, 2026: At 7:00 AM today, Executive Member of the LADC and in-charge of the Sports & Youth Service Department, C. Hrangthianga, inaugurated the SYS Football Academy 2026 Batch at CYLA Playground, Chandmary, Lawngtlai, under the initiative of the SYS Department, LADC. He also launched and distributed the academy T-shirts.

Speaking on the occasion, Pu C. Hrangthianga said that, through the initiatives of the SYS Department, LADC, the youth of Lawngtlai District have been making significant progress in football. He expressed his happiness at seeing the young people giving their best in the sport.

He encouraged the children participating in the SYS Academy training to train diligently and with strong determination. He also said that although the SYS Department, LADC, is providing the initial support, true success will largely depend on the individual efforts of the trainees. He encouraged them to take their training seriously, saying that those who are sincere and committed would eventually see the results of their efforts. He conveyed his best wishes to all the trainees for their future success.

Following his speech, he formally launched and distributed the Academy jerseys.

The programme was chaired by Pu C. Lalhmunsiama, SYO, LADC, who also delivered words of encouragement. Pu Lalramnunpuia, Sports Organizer, presented the technical report and announced important information regarding the academy.
