Lawngtlai, August 7, 2026: Executive Member LADC and Education i/c Middle School, Pu H. Vanlaltanpuia, today attended the Science Exhibition organised by PM Shri Model English School as the Chief Guest. He was received by Pu B. Lalchungnunga, Principal, PM Shri Model English School, along with his staff. The programme commenced with an opening song presented by the Standing Choir of PM Shri Model English School.
Addressing the gathering, Pu H. Vanlaltanpuia expressed his happiness at being invited by PM Shri Model English School to grace the occasion. He highlighted the importance of education, stating that education begins from the womb and remains an integral part of human life until the end. He also emphasised that science plays an important role in making human life easier.
He further stated that, in order to nurture and produce talented students, there is an urgent need for good Science and Mathematics teachers in elementary schools under LADC. He encouraged teachers to continue working with dedication and urged students to take greater interest in their studies and make renewed efforts towards achieving excellence. He also encouraged teachers to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the education and development of their students.
As Chief Guest, Pu H. Vanlaltanpuia visited the exhibition stalls and observed various portfolios and science projects prepared by the students of PM Shri Model English School. He also spent a joyful and memorable time interacting with the students.
Pu H. Vanlaltanpuia was accompanied by Pu B. Lalhnuna, Elementary Education Officer (M/S), Pu Moses Lalvenhima, Assistant Hindi Propagation Officer, and other staff members.
Scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) were invited to evaluate and judge the various science projects prepared by the students. Pu H. Laltanpuia, Additional DPC, Samagra Shiksha, Lawngtlai, also graced the programme as a special guest and delivered words of encouragement to the students.
