Lawngtlai, September 24, 2026:Yesterday, September 23, 2026, Executive Member, LADC, Pu HC. Lalthawmliana, who is in charge of the PHE Department and is also the Area MDC, attended the 52nd YLA Day celebration organized by the Diltlang South Branch YLA as the Chief Guest. In the evening, he also attended the 52nd YLA Day celebration organized by the Thingkah Branch YLA as the Chief Guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Pu HC. Lalthawmliana expressed his happiness that the 52nd YLA Day had once again been celebrated successfully. He conveyed his YLA Day greetings to all YLA members.

He said that in all the activities and services carried out by the YLA, there should be no place for personal benefit or self-interest, as the organization has always worked for the welfare of others. Referring to the teachings of Jesus Christ, he reminded the members that whatever they do for one of their fellow human beings, they are doing it for Him. He said that YLA members have always been genuine workers in serving the people.

He further stated that the YLA has always been a source of support for the poor and the underprivileged and has remained a strong pillar of support for the people in times of difficulty and hardship, thereby giving the public a sense of security and peace.

On the occasion of the 52nd YLA Day, he urged all YLA members and leaders across the different branches to renew their commitment to love for the land and the people, to preserve the dignity and purity of the organization, and to continue carrying forward its noble work with renewed dedication.

As part of the celebration of the 52nd YLA Day, Pu HC. Lalthawmliana also handed over a sound system and financial assistance to the Diltlang South Branch YLA.
