Lawngtlai, September 22, 2026:Today at 11:30 AM, Executive Member of the LADC, Pu JB. Vanhoy, held a meeting with parking fee collectors and fee payers at the Transport Department office. Various important matters concerning the collection of parking fees were discussed during the meeting.

Pu JB. Vanhoy, EM, expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to meet with the parking fee collectors. He emphasized the importance of working together to ensure that vehicle parking fees are collected properly and efficiently. He also mentioned that complaints regarding parking fees are sometimes received, and stated that the meeting was convened to improve the system and make it more effective. He urged the fee collectors to strictly follow the guidelines and instructions issued by the Transport Department and encouraged them to carry out their duties properly.

Pu Thansiama, Transport Officer, LADC, also highlighted various important matters that parking fee collectors and those involved in fee collection need to understand. He pointed out that parking areas are an important part of the appearance and image of the town, and therefore it is essential for everyone to understand both what they are required to do and what they should avoid doing. He advised them to carry out their duties carefully and to always use polite and respectful language when dealing with the public.

During the meeting, the parking fee collectors shared various difficulties and challenges they regularly face. The Transport Department, LADC, assured them that the department would consider possible solutions and provide assistance to resolve these difficulties as far as possible.
