PR.No.36/2025-2026

Lawngtlai, September 15, 2025:

This morning, Pu N. Zangura, Chief Executive Member of LADC, held a cordial meeting with the staff of Lai House, Aizawl. In his address, Pu N. Zangura encouraged the staff by highlighting that they are an important part of preserving the dignity and identity of the Lai people and urged them to work with sincerity and dedication.

In his continued speech, Pu N. Zangura pointed out that Lai House, Aizawl, employs a considerable number of staff, and at all times, people of different backgrounds gather there. Therefore, as it represents one of the most important symbols of Lai identity, he appealed to the staff to carry out their duties with full commitment and sincerity. He stated that although work may not always be perfect, if they carry out their duties faithfully and diligently, Lai House would be able to progress in many ways. He also mentioned that it is unfortunate when some individuals are not committed to their work, but assured that as long as such situations exist, necessary action will be taken accordingly.

He further said, “We politicians are here only for a limited time, chosen by God to lead our people and our land. You, however, will continue in your service even after our tenure ends. Therefore, it is very important that you uphold integrity and a genuine spirit of service. This role given to you by God to serve the people should not be taken lightly. When visitors come here, receive them respectfully, and whenever they need assistance, be ready to help. To have a heart of service and respect is the best attitude. Since we are the leaders of LADC for the time being, it is our duty to set an example. This is a responsibility I earnestly wish you to uphold. Whether one is a diligent or less diligent worker, we are all here together, and I urge you to always carry out your duties faithfully and joyfully,” he said.

Pu C. Hrangthianga, Executive Member, and Pu C. Lalmuanthanga, Vice Chairman, Planning & Development Board, LADC, also delivered words of encouragement.

The meeting was chaired by Pi Lalhminghlupuii, DRC, Lai House, and was attended by Pu V. Vanlianhrina, Court President & Recorder, LADC.
