Lawngtlai, April 28, 2026:Today at 2:00 PM, the Executive Member of LADC, Pu C. Hrangthianga, who is also in charge of the Sports & Youth Services (SYS) Department and serves as the President of LDFA, was presented with a citation of appreciation by the Bualpui Zone Football Association (BZFA) at his office. The program also included a brief felicitation ceremony.

Pu C. Hrangthianga expressed his gratitude, saying that he sincerely appreciates the warm gesture and the beautifully prepared citation presented by BZFA. He mentioned that he has shared a strong and positive working relationship with BZFA over the years and is deeply thankful for it. Through football, he has built many friendships and relationships, and he has been actively involved in the sport for over 20 years. He further added that in the future, they should continue working together to advance football, noting that the district has made significant progress in the sport. Players from the LADC Football Academy have even gone on to play for clubs at the national level in India. He assured that the LADC Government will continue to give its full support to further develop football.

BZFA President Pu Lalchhanhima Pautu stated that they are very pleased not only with Pu C. Hrangthianga’s success in the MDC elections but also with his appointment as the head of the Sports Department under LADC. He added that BZFA has received continuous support and encouragement from him, and therefore felt it was appropriate to honour him with a citation. He mentioned that although their gesture may be small, it is a sincere expression of their appreciation and requested him to kindly accept it.

The citation was presented by Pu Lalchhanhima (President), Pu T. Vanlalhruaia (Honorary Secretary, BZFA), along with other members of the association.
