Lai Autonomous District Council's Winter Session Begins

Lawngtlai, November 12, 2024: The three-day Winter Session of the Lai Autonomous District Council began today at 10:30 am in the LADC Session Hall, chaired by Pu VL. Hmuaka, Chairman, LADC.

During the session, a condolence meeting was held for Pu Thanglawma, former MDC from Bungtlang South, who passed away on July 2, 2024. Chief Executive Member Pu C. Lalmuanthanga paid tribute, praising Pu Thanglawma's contributions to the nation and community.

The Chairman appointed Pu N. Zangura MDC and Pi C. Biakthansangi MDC as Protem Chairmen for the duration of the Winter Session.

The session will address 31 starred questions, two official businesses, and one non-official business. Nine questions were answered during the question-and-answer session.

After introducing two official bills, the Chief Executive Member announced the next session will be held on November 13, 2024, at 10:30 am.
