Lawngtlai, November 26, 2024: This afternoon, representatives of the COWokers Project, Germany, Mr. Andreas and Mr.and Mrs. Krista Reppich, met with LADC Chief Executive Member (CEM) Pu C. Lalmuanthanga in his office chamber to discuss various important aspects of collaboration.
The representatives from the COWokers Project shared that they have been working towards numerous developmental initiatives across Mizoram, particularly in areas under LADC jurisdiction. They emphasized that these developmental efforts are designed to align with local culture and traditions while ensuring sustainable progress that directly benefits the community. They stressed the importance of accurate and comprehensive information and data to support such development, highlighting that these resources are essential for understanding the needs of the people and planning effective initiatives.
In response, LADC CEM Pu C. Lalmuanthanga expressed his gratitude and assured them of LADC's willingness to collaborate in any capacity possible. He noted that their proposals and vision align with LADC’s objectives of community welfare and progress. He also stated that their assistance would greatly contribute to advancing the district's developmental goals.
Pu K. Lalthanzara, Executive Secretary, LADC, also expressed gratitude for their visit and shared his hope for continued collaboration in the future. He emphasized that the meeting marked an important step towards meaningful progress.
The meeting was also attended by Pu C. Lalsawmzuala, Chairman of the Town Committee. Additionally, the representatives from the COWokers Project, Germany, were accompanied by Rev. B. Zazawna Lai, General Secretary of LIKBK; Rev. Dr. Hla Aung, Executive Secretary of the Global Chin Christian Federation; and a professor from the University of Cologne, Germany.
