Dated Lawngtlai, 11th July 2025: At 4:00 p.m, a meeting was held in the Mizoram Chief Secretary’s Conference Room, Mizoram Secretariat Building No. 1, to discuss the development of Autonomous District Councils in Mizoram where participants includes the Study Group/Cadre Review Committee, a commitee constituted to oversee the management of ADCs, led by Khilli Ram Meena (IAS) as the Chairman.

During the meeting, officials from the Autonomous District Councils in Mizoram joined via video conference. From LADC, Mr. K. Lalthanzara, Executive Secretary; Mr. L.Z. Tluanga, Secretary (GAD); and Mr. Thansiama Lawtlai, Deputy Secretary (GAD), participated.

The meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Mizoram Chief Secretary Mr Khilli Ram Meena (IAS). Also present were the Commissioner & Secretary, Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Commissioner & Secretary, Finance Department, Commissioner & Secretary, Planning and Programme Implementation Department, and Secretary, Law & Judicial Department from the Government of Mizoram.

The meeting focused on reviewing the current system for the development of Autonomous District Councils in Mizoram and also discussed other important matters. It was agreed that further meeting will be held in the coming days of July.
