Lawngtlai, June 20, 2026: The second batch of trainees under the Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) at the NIELIT Study Centre, Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC), appeared for their examination today.

A total of 34 candidates took the examination, of whom 14 were trainees from the LADC Centre and the remaining 20 were trainees under DIET Lawngtlai. Following the guidelines and instructions issued by NIELIT authorities, the examination process this year was conducted in a more systematic, disciplined, and strictly monitored manner.

The NIELIT Study Centre under LADC continues to make dedicated efforts to equip youths and working individuals within the district with reliable computer skills, which are increasingly important for applying to government jobs and enhancing employability.

The NIELIT CCC Examination is conducted online simultaneously across all States and Union Territories of India and is widely recognized for recruitment to various Central and State Government posts. The primary objective of the course is to provide certification in basic computer proficiency, including the use of MS Word, Excel, Internet applications, and digital payment/online transaction systems. This certificate is accepted for numerous government jobs and is particularly mandatory for many Clerical and Office Assistant posts.

Today's examination was conducted online through computers and consisted of 100 objective-type questions, including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and True/False questions, to be completed within 60 to 90 minutes. As there is no negative marking and the examination is designed to be accessible, there is no specific age limit or minimum educational qualification required for applicants. Candidates must secure at least 50% marks to pass the examination.

The ICT Department, LADC, extends its best wishes to all those who have obtained or will obtain computer certifications through this centre and hopes that they will utilize their skills effectively and productively for the development and progress of the nation.
