Lawngtlai, April 14, 2026 (Tuesday): For the first time, the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) examinations are being conducted at the LADC NIELIT Study Centre. The examinations are scheduled to be held over two days—today and tomorrow, April 15, 2026 (Wednesday). Students enrolled in the Certified Office Automation and IT Assistant (COAITA) course are appearing for the examination.

The NIELIT Study Centre was established through the initiative of the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Department under the Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) in collaboration with NIELIT Aizawl. The centre aims to promote digital literacy among council employees as well as the general public. It is expected to significantly contribute to modernizing office operations and improving administrative efficiency.

The COAITA course, which is classified under NSQF Level 3, equips students with essential skills such as Computer Fundamentals, Office Automation tools (Word, Spreadsheet, Presentation), and basic Internet usage.
