Lawngtlai, October 22, 2024: The YLA Golden Jubilee Inter-Branch Volleyball Tournament 2024 commenced yesterday at the District Volleyball Court, Chawnhu, inaugurated by Pu C. Hrangthianga, Executive Member of the SYS Department, LADC.

In his address, he highlighted the significance of this 50th anniversary (Golden Jubilee) celebration, encouraging all YLA members to participate actively. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship, stating that sports not only promote physical health but also foster unity and resilience.

Pu Hrangthianga noted the success of the District Volleyball Association, which has previously won championships in Mizoram tournaments, and urged participants to strive for excellence in this tournament as well.

The event was coordinated by Pu C. Lalhmachhuana of the Games & Sports Committee, with support from Pu F. Lalrothanga, Vice President of CYLA, and Pu Joseph Lalhmingthanga, General Secretary of CYLA, who also shared encouraging words during the opening.
