Lawngtlai, September 11, 2024 (Tuesday). Today, a significant meeting was held at the CEM Conference Hall, chaired by Pu C. Lalmuanthanga, CEM LADC, with LADC officials from various tax-related departments and representatives from HDFC Bank. The meeting focused on online and offline tax collection modes.

During the meeting, Nl. Lalhmingmawii, Area Head, HDFC, Mizoram Aizawl, presented a PowerPoint presentation on HDFC's existing online and offline tax payment modes with the Government of Mizoram and the possibilities of integrating these with LADC's tax payment system.

Further discussions and deliberations were held on how to facilitate smoother tax payments for departments under LADC and the general public. The meeting explored ways to enhance online payment options through websites, mobile apps, and POS systems within the district.
