Lawngtlai, June 23, 2026: Today, Pu C. Lalmuanthanga said he was very happy that the SHG Mela organized by MzSRLM Sangau RD Block was successful, and on behalf of LADC he expressed his gratitude. He said he has a keen interest in and high regard for handicrafts, and even though he had nothing significant to say, he felt he could not decline the invitation.

He also sincerely thanked the officers and staff of MzSRLM Sangau RD Block. He said this program is an important occasion for Self Help Groups (SHGs) to showcase their products and businesses. Because of the collaboration between MzSRLM and SHGs, he has seen considerable progress and livelihood improvements in various villages under Sangau RD Block. MzSRLM Sangau RD Block has been doing good work to support women and the elderly in livelihood opportunities by providing training and seed capital.

He said these efforts have brought significant development and reliable livelihoods, especially in the villages of the Tuichhak area, and as LADC Chairman he reiterated his thanks. He assured that LADC will continue to support their initiatives and called for continued good cooperation.

He extended thanks to all the MzSRLM Sangau RD Block staff and SHG members who organized the SHG Mela, and to the public. He wished for the program to continue successfully and expressed his hope that it would be a blessing for SHG members and for all villages within Sangau RD Block.
