Lawngtlai, December 18, 2024 – A meeting between Pu C. Lalmuanthanga, Chief Executive Member of the Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC), and the newly elected leaders of the Central Young Lai Association (CYLA) was held at 11:00 a.m. today in the CEM's office. The meeting focused on significant issues concerning the development of the Lai community and its welfare.
In his address, Pu C. Lalmuanthanga warmly welcomed the CYLA leaders and commended their members for electing capable individuals to lead the organization. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between CYLA and the LADC government to address key challenges and promote the progress of the Lai community. He expressed his belief that the meeting would pave the way for mutual understanding and cooperative efforts to advance the community's development. He also urged the CYLA leaders to work with dedication and assured them of the government's support in tackling pressing issues.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss various important topics, including security and border-related concerns, measures to improve electricity supply, and strategies for the socio-economic development of the Lai people.
The CYLA leaders expressed their gratitude to Pu C. Lalmuanthanga for organizing the meeting and recognizing the significance of their role in the community.
