This afternoon, Pu C. Lalsawmzuala, Executive Member, PWD, LADC, visited and inspected the PWD Inspection Bungalow located at Lawngtlai Electric Veng, as well as the Skill Development Training Center situated along KMMTP Road.

Pu C. Lalsawmzuala, EM, stated that the PWD I.B., constructed in 2018 under an agreement with the Government of Mizoram but left unused without government maintenance, cannot be considered a waste. Since the building is in good condition and useful, the LADC government plans to utilize it effectively. He also mentioned that, as required, some departments within the LADC may soon be shifted there. Since LADC staff face serious accommodation shortages, they will continue to take necessary measures to resolve the issue. Under the guidance of Pu N. Zangura, CEM, although progress is slow, efforts are underway, and the LADC government is determined to move forward in the path of development with the support of dedicated and sincere workers and citizens.

As per the agreement, the Revenue Department, LADC, has been instructed to demarcate the land by constructing boundary pillars and to submit a report to the Executive Secretary, LADC. The PWD, LADC has also been directed to properly verify the building’s condition and location, and to submit a full report to the Executive Secretary so that further plans can be made based on these findings.

After this, Pu C. Lalsawmzuala also inspected the Skill Development Training Center located along KMMTP Road, directing the PWD, LADC to check the condition of the building and necessary repairs, and to submit a complete report to the Executive Secretary, LADC for proper utilization.

Pu C. Lalsawmzuala, EM, was accompanied by Pu K. Lalthanzara, Executive Secretary, Pu Thansiama, Dy. Secretary (GAD), LADC, along with PWD engineers and officials from the Revenue Department, LADC.
