Lawngtlai, August 2, 2024: Pu C. Rongura, the Executive Member in charge of Transport, has reported significant improvements in the management and operations of the Transport Department. Under his leadership, the department has effectively streamlined its functions, ensuring that its services are operating smoothly.

Pu C. Rongura highlighted the importance of maintaining high standards in the department, emphasizing the need for dedicated drivers and efficient operations. He acknowledged that while there are challenges, particularly in ensuring that drivers adhere to regulations, the department is committed to addressing these issues proactively.

He also mentioned the importance of punctuality and accountability within the department. Pu Rongura stressed that the department is focused on delivering quality service to the public and is continually working to enhance its performance. He pointed out that while there is room for improvement, the team is dedicated to making necessary adjustments to better serve the community.

Pu HC. Vanlalruatpuia, Transport Officer of LADC, supported this view, stating that Pu Rongura’s leadership has been instrumental in improving the department’s performance. He noted that the department has made significant strides in enhancing its operational efficiency and service delivery.
