Lawngtlai, April 24, 2026: On the evening of April 23, Executive Member of LADC (in charge of the PHE Department), Pu HC. Lalthawmliana attended the 7th General Conference of the Bawm Students’ Association (MBSA) held at Hruaitezawl as the Chief Guest. On this occasion, he emphasized the importance of knowing God and pursuing education, and encouraged unity among the community.

In his address, Pu HC. Lalthawmliana stated that in all aspects of life, God should be placed first, and that no nation that does not acknowledge God can truly progress. He expressed hope that the Bawm community, by putting God first in everything, would be uplifted and blessed as a people.

He strongly highlighted the importance of education for the progress of the community, urging both parents and students to take education seriously. He also reminded students studying within Mizoram or outside the state to always remain mindful that their education should contribute to the welfare of their land and community.

He further stressed the importance of unity and preserving cultural identity, noting that hard work in every endeavor leads to success.

During the event, MBSA leaders presented Pu HC. Lalthawmliana with a beautifully written citation in recognition of his presence.
