Lawngtlai, December 19, 2024 – Pu JB. Vanhoy, Executive Member (EM) in charge of the Social Welfare Department, LADC, visited the Lairam Motherless Home in College Veng and extended Christmas greetings by donating Rs. 20,000 to the institution.  

In his address, Pu JB. Vanhoy highlighted the significance of Christmas as a time of celebration and reflection for Christians. He noted that this festive season is traditionally celebrated with family and loved ones, often filled with warmth and togetherness. Acknowledging the hardships faced by the residents of the Motherless Home, he expressed the LADC's commitment to supporting them and ensuring they are not forgotten. He encouraged the residents to embrace the joy of Christmas and the New Year, despite their challenges, and announced the donation of Rs. 20,000 to be used meaningfully for their well-being and festive needs.  

Pu JB. Vanhoy was accompanied by staff members of the Social Welfare Department, LADC, during the visit.
