Lawngtlai, December 11, 2024: Today at 12:30 p.m., Pu Lalropuia Chinzah, Executive Member in charge of the Information & Public Relations Department, Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC), held a meeting with the members of the Phawngpui Photographer's Association.
In his address, Pu Lalropuia Chinzah, EM, stated that the Phawngpui Photographer's Association plays a crucial role in promoting important and scenic locations within the LADC area. He expressed his gratitude for their various contributions and emphasized the importance of their continued collaboration in different initiatives.
He further mentioned that there has been a strong partnership between the Phawngpui Photographer's Association and the LADC Information Department. The department annually publishes a calendar that requires high-quality photographs, and he acknowledged the association’s cooperation in providing excellent photographs for this purpose. He added that the upcoming calendar would also feature their works, continuing this tradition of collaboration.
Additionally, he informed the gathering that a Tourism Cell has been formally established under the LADC Information Department and that efforts are underway to expand its activities. He sought the association's active support in providing necessary inputs and resources for the department’s initiatives. He encouraged the photographers to maintain their dedication and promised mutual support for their endeavors.
The members of the Phawngpui Photographer's Association also expressed their gratitude for the fruitful collaboration with the LADC Information Department. They highlighted the challenges they face and thanked the department for its consistent support and assistance. They pledged to continue their contributions as required.
During the event, Pu Lalropuia Chinzah, EM, presented the 2025 LADC Calendar, and Pu C. Lawmsangzuala, Information & Public Relations Officer ,I & PRO, also attended the meeting.
