PR.No.43/2025-2026

Lawngtlai, September 30, 2025:

Today, Pu N. Zangura, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of LADC, laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Revenue & Settlement Office at M. Kawnpui. A gathering to mark this occasion was held at the M. Kawnpui Community Hall, chaired by Pu Lalrammawia, Village Council Member.

In his speech, CEM Pu N. Zangura said:

“By God’s grace, the support of my colleagues, and the leaders' wish, I am very thankful that I could hold this important office as CEM of LADC. I also extend my gratitude to all the people of M. Kawnpui Constituency. M. Kawnpui is a prominent village, and in the past we had to go to faraway places for office-related matters. But today, as we lay the foundation for the Revenue & Settlement Office, it will not only benefit M. Kawnpui but also serve the surrounding villages. I deeply thank all our leaders for their support.”

Highlighting the importance of the programme, he said:

“It is very encouraging that people have come together warmly for today’s important event. I also extend gratitude to the government officials, officers, and staff who supported this effort. Government has both its strengths and limitations; therefore, we must not think of ourselves as confined only to ‘government work’ or ‘government responsibilities.’ We must take responsibility ourselves to bring progress. M. Kawnpui is a fertile land where paddy grows well, and other crops also thrive. If we work sincerely and diligently, we will surely achieve success. Those who work hard are always valuable to the government, and we must always consider ways to support them. In times of hardship, we will also look for ways to help.”

CEM Pu N. Zangura further said:

“Though our tenure in the LADC Government is short and we do not have much time, we are committed to doing all that we can for the good of our land and our people, striving to leave behind truly beneficial achievements. Therefore, instead of boasting, it is important that we achieve real, meaningful results. I also urge the people to continue extending their cooperation.”

The programme was also attended by Pu V.L. Hmuaka, Chairman, LADC, Pu C. Rongura, Executive Member (EM), Pu C. Lalsawmzuala, EM, Pu Lalropuia Chinzah, EM, Pu H. Lalmuansanga, EM, Pu J.B. Vanhoy, Dy.
