LAWNGTLAI, June 24, 2024 - On June 23, 2024, at 9:30 PM, a fire severely damaged the residence of the late Pu Thangnawna in Lawngtlai Vengpui, resulting in the tragic deaths of Pi A. Sungtiali and Pi H. Darhniangi. Executive Member Pu Lalropuia Chinzah visited the site, offering Rs. 5,000/- and two tarpaulins through the Lawngtlai Vengpui Young Lai Association (YLA), and an additional Rs. 5,000/- to the affected family.

Pu Lalropuia Chinzah, also in charge of Revenue, expressed deep sorrow and affirmed the LADC Government's commitment to support. He praised the swift response of the Fire Department and Police, highlighting the need for community preparedness and cooperation in emergencies.

Pu HC. Vanlalruatpuia, the LADC Transport Officer, accompanied him.
