PR No. 37/2026–2027

Lawngtlai, May 8, 2026: Today, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, H. Vanlaltanpuia, Executive Member i/c Middle School (M/S) etc., Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC), visited Chawngtlangpui Middle School, Sihtlangpui Middle School, and Kawlchaw Middle School.

The visit was led by B. Lalhnuna, Elementary Education Officer (EEO), LADC. During the programme, teachers were encouraged to maintain lesson plans, keep school compounds clean, and continue educating students while remaining cautious about fire hazards. The EEO also reminded teachers to wear Lai Dress every Monday, give importance to Monthly Reports and official communications issued from the office, and comply with them in a timely manner.

Addressing the teachers, EM H. Vanlaltanpuia encouraged them to reach school on time regularly and provide sincere teaching so that education standards may improve. He emphasized the importance of cleanliness and discipline, and also highlighted the need to avoid excessive involvement in church and community activities that could negatively affect students’ education.

Continuing his address, the EM urged the teachers to renew their commitment by saying, “Teach the children in such a way that you yourself would willingly admit your own children into the school where you serve.”

During the visit, the Headmasters presented reports on the condition and status of their respective schools and expressed gratitude for the visit made by the EM and officials. The EM was accompanied by five staff members from the Middle School Department office.
