Lawngtlai, 5th May 2026: As part of the ongoing implementation of the “Overnight Parking” system to ensure better regulation of vehicle parking within Lawngtlai Town, 10 Receipt books and Wheel-locks (clamps) each have been distributed to the Village Level Parking Management Committees of various localities. The items were formally handed over by Pu HC Vanlalruatpuia, Transport Officer, LADC.

This initiative has been undertaken to promote more organized parking within the town and to address the issue of vehicles being improperly parked along roadsides. The distribution of these materials is intended to strengthen the functioning of the local committees.

The equipment has been distributed across different localities in Lawngtlai, and will be put into immediate use, particularly for regulating unauthorized overnight parking.
