Lawngtlai, September 9, 2025: Mr. C. Hrangthianga, Executive Member, SYS Department, called a meeting with SYS Department's officers and staff, they discussed various initiatives to strengthen the Department. Following this, Mr. C. Lalhmunsiama, SYS Officer started taking action on the various initiatives discussed.

On September 8, 2025, Sports & Youth Services Officer C. Lalhmunsiama visited the LADC SYS Boxing Academy to review its facilities, meet trainees and staff, and listen to their feedback and concerns. He was briefed on several ongoing activities and emphasized the need to continue organizing regular training sessions to develop our youth. He then stated that sports should be promoted as a means to nurture discipline and build character among young people.

Additionally, the SYS Football Academy was also visited. The academy has not been operating well in recent years, and Mr. C. Hrangthianga, the Executive Member, expressed strong support for enhancing its activities and proposed to work well with CYLA. He encouraged sustained efforts to train and prepare young players so they can perform at higher levels, and highlighted the importance of providing them with proper guidance and motivation. He also stated that necessary sports equipment be supplied as needed, if possible. He also requested the commitment of SYS academies, coaches, organizers, and staff to ensure that the support required to conduct effective outcomes are delivered.

Finally, on the same day of the visit, Mr. C. Lalhmunsiama also conducted inspection on the CYLA field.
