Lawngtlai, April 17, 2025: This morning, at 10:30 AM, the 11th Lai Autonomous District Council Emergency Session chaired by Pu T. Zakunga, Chairman LADC started.

In this LADC Emergency Session, Pu V. Zirsanga, Chief Executive Member, LADC presented the Lai Autonomous District Council Budget for 2025-2026 as follows:

1. Budget of Lai Autonomous District Council for 2024-2025 & Revised Estimate for 2024-2025.

2. Supplementary Demand for Grants of LADC for 2024-2025.

3. Budget of LADC for 2025-2026:-

   (a) Grants-In-Aid: Rs. 25,751.57 lakhs

   (b) VC Remuneration: Rs. 182.50 lakhs

   (c) Local Revenue Collection: Rs. 400.00 lakhs

Grand Total (a+b+c): Rs. 26,334.07 lakhs

After this presentation, he encouraged the members to study the proposed budget and during the discussion later, he requested the members to discuss and pass the proposed budget.

Pu T. Zakunga, Chairman LADC mentioned that for the conduct of the Emergency Session, Pannel of Chairman duties will be handled by Pu JB. Vanhoy, MDC and Pi Z. Ngunchhini, MDC.

Following the presentation of the Budget 2025-2026 by Pu V. Zirsanga, LADC CEM, Pu T. Zakunga, Chaiman announced that the next session will be held on April 21, 2025 at 10:30 AM and ended the Session.
