The Protem Chairman and Members of the 12th LADC were administered the Oath of Office and Secretary


LAWNGTLAI, December 22, 2025 – Today at 11:30 a.m., a solemn function for the welcoming and administration of the oath of office and secrecy to the Protem Chairman and newly elected Members of the 12th Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) was held at the LADC Hall, Lawngtlai.

The programme was conducted by Pi F.L. Kungpuii, Deputy Secretary, District Council Secretariat. Rev. F. Lallawmzauva, AGS (Mission), LIKBK led a prayer, exhorting the newly elected MDCs by saying that if they lead the land and the people with faith in God, God will guide them, and that the Church will continue to pray for them.

Pi F.L. Kungpuii thereafter read out the Government Notification, following which the Deputy Commissioner of Lawngtlai District, Pu Donny Lalruatsanga, administered the oath of office and secrecy to Pu Lallura Chinzah, MDC from 13–Lawngtlai Council Veng Constituency, appointing him as the Protem Chairman.

Pu Lallura Chinzah, Protem Chairman, subsequently administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected Members of the 12th Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC). The newly inducted Members are as follows:
