Lawngtlai, November 26, 2024: The Information & Public Relations Department, LADC, will officially release and commence the sale of the LADC Calendar-2025 starting tomorrow, November 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The calendar will be available at the Information & Public Relations Department Office, LADC, for Rs. 50/- each.
Pu Lalropuia Chinzah, Executive Member in charge of the I&PR Department, stated that in the past, the LADC Calendar was distributed for free, incurring significant costs for the Council. However, as guided by past leadership, the free distribution was deemed unsustainable. To reduce unnecessary expenses and make the calendar affordable for the public, it will now be sold at a nominal price.
He highlighted that increasing revenue collection is crucial for the Council, given its limited income sources. Selling the calendar is seen as a small but meaningful step towards boosting LADC's financial stability. He urged the public to understand and support this initiative, recognizing its value in contributing to the development of the region.
He also extended his gratitude to the dedicated staff of the Information & Public Relations Department, acknowledging their consistent and efficient efforts in ensuring the successful release of the calendar.
