Lawngtlai, February 28, 2025: Yesterday, the first day of Hlukhla celebration was held at the Central YLA Playground as Pu V. Zirsanga, Chief Executive Member of the LADC as the Chief Guest.

LADC CEM Pu V. Zirsanga delivered a speech stating that the celebration is for the benefit of the Laifa community, ensuring that all involved experience joy, and he expressed hope that it would be a memorable day filled with happiness and joy.

He mentioned that the event aims at utilizing various resources and engage participants in lively activities aimed at relaxation and engagement, with the objective of ensuring that everyone enjoys the festival. He emphasized the importance of unity among the community and expressed his desire for everyone to feel proud and connected during this celebration.

He also emphasized his hope and dream for the community to flourish with vibrant interactions as they revel in the festivities, appreciating the beauty of our land and culture together, reaffirming our commitment to peace and harmony. The joy of coming together for such an occasion to be evident, enhancing the celebratory spirit of the day.

During the celebration, MUP General Headquarters Lawngtlai performed vaw hla opening the festival. Executive Secretary of the LADC, Pu K. Lalthanzara also gave a speech welcoming everyone, with Pastor H. Lalsangvunga engaging in a short devotion followed by BCM Lawngtlai Choir performing a beautiful opening song,.

Yesterday's celebration featured various performances that showcased local talent, with significant community participation contributing to the vibrant atmosphere. The pride of the community was apparent as they engaged wholeheartedly in the festivities.
