The newly appointed Protem Chairman of the 12th LADC administered the oath of office
LAWNGTLAI – January 26, 2026 – Today at 12:30 p.m., a brief oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed Protem Chairman of the 12th Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC), Pu C. Hrangthianga, MDC from Constituency No. 14 – Lawngtlai College Veng, was held at the LADC Chairman’s Room, Lawngtlai.
The programme was chaired by Pi F. L. Kungpuii, Deputy Secretary, District Council Secretariat. She read out the Government Notification, following which the Deputy Commissioner of Lawngtlai District, Pu Donny Lalruatsanga, administered the oath of office to Pu C. Hrangthianga, MDC, Constituency No. 14 – Lawngtlai College Veng, appointing him as Protem Chairman.
The programme was attended by MNF MDCs and Congress MDCs, Pu K. Lalthanzara, Executive Secretary, LADC, other officials, and members of the press.In his address, Protem Chairman Pu C. Hrangthianga expressed his gratitude to God and to the leaders for entrusting him with such an important responsibility. He thanked all those who attended and supported him during the oath-taking ceremony and expressed his hope that the LADC Government would function smoothly.
