Lawngtlai, August 22, 2024 : On August 21, 2024, a meeting was held at the LADC CEM Conference Hall, chaired by Pu C. Lalmuanthanga, CEM of LADC. The discussion focused on the status of street lights across Lawngtlai and the associated billing issues.

Pu C. Lalmuanthanga reported that out of 152 street lights in Lawngtlai, the bills for 78 lights have been paid by LADC, but the remaining 74 lights still have outstanding bills. He emphasized the importance of addressing these financial challenges and improving the efficiency of the street lighting system.

Joint Secretary (GAD) Pu LZ. Tluanga presented a detailed report. He noted that while LADC consistently pays the bills for street lights, there are issues with the accuracy of the bills and the performance of the lighting system. The meeting highlighted the need for better management and monitoring of street lights to ensure that they are functional and billed correctly.

The meeting also discussed upcoming plans and the necessity for improvements before the Christmas season. Participants included Pu L. Daniala, EM i/c LAD, Pu K. Lalthanzara, Executive Secretary, and Pu LZ. Tluanga, Jt. Secretary (GAD) of LADC.
