Lawngtlai, February 12, 2025:  

An Emergency Session of the Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) was held under the chairmanship of Pu VL. Hmuaka, Chairman, LADC.  

During the session, a letter from the *Hon’ble Governor of Mizoram* instructing a *Floor Test* was read out. Following this, Pu C. Lalmuanthanga, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of LADC, announced his resignation his resignation letter was formally read out . 

With Pu C. Lalmuanthanga’s resignation, the LADC Executive Committee automatically dissolved, and a Floor Test was no longer required. As there were no further business matters to be discussed in the session, Pu VL. Hmuaka, Chairman, LADC, officially adjourned the session indefinitely.
