Lawngtlai, September 20, 2024: Today, the 5th General Conference of the Lawngtlai District Village Council Association was held at CYLA Hall, and was inaugurated by Pu C. Lalmuanthanga, Chief Executive Member, LADC.

Pu C. Lalmuanthanga, CEM, said in his address that the Village Council members should remember that "our land is our responsibility" and work together to bring development and progress to the area. He emphasized that the Village Council's role is not just limited to administering the village, but also to work for the overall development of the community.

The CEM also handed over a Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant to the LDVCA President, Pu Elvis Lalthangzuala, to be used by the LADC's LAD department.

The conference also included the election of new office bearers for LDVCA, with K. Laldinmawia being elected as the new president.

The CEM encouraged the Village Council members to work hard and strive for development, and assured them that the LADC would provide full support and cooperation.

The conference was attended by Village Council members, local leaders, and officials from the LADC.
