Lawngtlai, August 23, 2024. Yesterday, at 1:00 p.m., Pu C. Lalmuanthanga, CEM of LADC, convened a meeting with all Heads of Departments at the LADC CEM Conference Hall. The meeting focused on government plans and issues needing attention, as well as the importance of maintaining diligence in government affairs.
Pu C. Lalmuanthanga emphasized the importance of addressing planning and management issues promptly and thoroughly. He noted that as politicians, they should work collaboratively and be attentive to their responsibilities. He urged that effective office management and administration be prioritized to ensure smooth operations.
Additionally, he highlighted the need to prepare Concept Papers and Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and submit them in a timely manner. Failure to do so could impede progress and hinder effective project implementation. The meeting also underscored the importance of following up on project submissions, noting that several projects under PMJVK, the 16th Finance Commission, and NEC are pending.
Pu David Zothantluanga, Planning & Development Officer, reported that several concept papers and project submissions are underway, including submissions to PMJVK, the 16th Finance Commission, and NEC.
Pu Laltlawmlova Chinzah, Vice Chairman of the Planning Board, provided updates on planning and estimates, stressing the need for precise and timely information.
Pu C. Lalmuanthanga concluded the meeting by reaffirming the commitment to thoroughness and effectiveness in government affairs and scheduled another meeting for follow-up.
