Lawngtlai, July 3, 2024 - Today, at 11:00 AM, the Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) convened a solemn swearing-in ceremony to inaugurate Pu C. Lalsawmzuala as the newly elected Member of District Council (MDC) for Chandmary Constituency. The event, held at a dignified gathering, was overseen by Pu VL. Hmuaka, Chairman of LADC, who officiated the oath-taking process.
Pu C. Lalmuanthanga, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of LADC, addressed the assembly, emphasizing the significance of electoral integrity and public service. He expressed gratitude to the constituents for their trust and pledged to uphold the council's commitment to transparency, accountability, and community-driven development.
Rev. V. Suikharliana, entrusted with officiating the ceremony, led the proceedings with solemnity and grace. Among the esteemed guests were Pu H. Zothangliana, a former MLA renowned for his contributions to regional development, and other distinguished community leaders.
