Lawngtlai, August 2, 2024: A meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Pu C. Lalmuanthanga, Chief Executive Member, to discuss the management of Lai Students' Hostel, which is operated by LADC. The meeting was attended by representatives from relevant departments and LIKBK Church.

CEM Pu C. Lalmuanthanga emphasized the need for careful consideration in the continuation of the hostel management, as the current agreement for Lai Students' Hostel in New Delhi, Shillong, and Aizawl has expired. He stressed the importance of reviewing proposals from concerned departments to ensure a smooth transition.

Lai Students' Hostel has been in operation for over 10 years, and it is time to review its management and expenditure to identify areas for improvement. CEM Pu C. Lalmuanthanga and LIKBK representatives agreed that a new plan is necessary to enhance the management of Lai Students' Hostel and make it more beneficial for students.

Concerned departments will examine the proposals and submit their reports and recommendations, which will be reviewed by the Executive Committee.
