Lawngtlai, July 10, 2024: An Emergency Session of the 11th Lai Autonomous District Council was held today, July 10, 2024, at 10:30 AM.

The Session was convened under the leadership of Pu VL. Hmuaka, Chairman of LADC. During the session, the resignation of Pu CL. Lianzuala, Deputy Chairman LADC, which was submitted on July 8, 2024, was accepted. Consequently, a new Deputy Chairman was appointed during today's session.

Pu H.Lalmuansanga, MDC from Tuithumhnar Constituency, was nominated for the position of Deputy Chairman. The nomination was accepted by Pu VL. Hmuaka, Chairman of LADC, making Pu H. Lalmuansanga the new Deputy Chairman of the Council.

Pu C. Lalmuanthanga, CEM LADC, praised the appointment of Pu H. Lalmuansanga, describing him as a knowledgeable and capable leader who will bring positive change to the Council. He expressed confidence that Pu H. Lalmuansanga will be instrumental in the effective administration of the Council.

Following his appointment, Pu H. Lalmuansanga expressed his gratitude and commitment to working diligently for the betterment of the community. He vowed to address pressing issues and ensure the effective functioning of the Council.

The session concluded with the announcement that the next meeting will be held on July 11, 2024, at 10:30 AM.
