Lawngtlai, August 8, 2024: Today, the Environment, Forest & Climate Change Department of the LADC has intensified its efforts in the Tuipui Ferry Roadside Plantation project. As part of this initiative, the department has undertaken comprehensive measures to ensure the project's success and promote a greener environment.
Pu K. Lalromawia, DCCF of LADC, highlighted the importance of the roadside plantation and emphasized the department's commitment to the Green LADC Day celebration. He underscored the need for continued improvement and dedication to achieve the project's objectives. The department is also focused on effectively managing resources to ensure environmental sustainability and meet the needs of the community.
The LIKBK Thalai Pawl's ongoing support has been instrumental, contributing significantly to the plantation's progress. The department aims to enhance the plantation's effectiveness, with current efforts achieving a 90% success rate in plant survival.
Today's activities reflect the department's commitment to environmental stewardship and community involvement. The officers and staff have demonstrated commendable efforts in advancing the plantation project, reinforcing the importance of collective action in environmental conservation.
