Lawngtlai, May 14, 2026: Today, the Executive Member of LADC in charge of the Sports & Youth Services Department, Pu C. Hrangthianga, visited various schools within his constituency at College Veng, Lawngtlai, including Government Southern Standard Middle School, Government Primary School-I, and Government Primary School-II. During the visit, he spent meaningful time interacting with teachers and students.

On the occasion, Pu C. Hrangthianga stated that teachers carry great importance and responsibility, as students spend most of their time under their guidance. He urged teachers to care for and guide students not only in academics but also in shaping their character and way of life with love and compassion. He remarked that teachers hold a particularly important role among government employees and encouraged them to continue giving their best efforts for the welfare of their respective schools.

Addressing the students, he said that academic knowledge alone is not enough. He emphasized that even when they become Officers, Doctors, Politicians, or successful Businesspersons in the future, it is important for them to remain kind, helpful, and pleasant to work with for the benefit of society. He encouraged the students to prepare themselves diligently and work hard from now on to achieve success in life. He also assured the teachers that the various difficulties and issues they raised would be pursued as far as possible in coordination with the concerned departments.

For the students’ sports activities, the Executive Member donated a volleyball and net to Government Southern Standard Middle School, and volleyballs to Government Primary School-I and Government Primary School-II. He also provided financial assistance for the purchase of uniforms for the students of Primary School-II. Pu C. Hrangthianga was accompanied by Pu Thanliana Zathang, EEO (P/S), and Pu C. Lalhmunsiama, SYS Officer.
