Lawngtlai, October 23, 2026: Today, staff of the Land Resources, Soil and Water Conservation Department, Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC), attended a one-day training programme on farm demonstration at the rubber plantation of Pu Ramnghaka in Sihtlangpui.

The training programme was chaired by Pu K. Thansiama, SCD, Land Resources, Soil and Water Conservation Department, LADC.

During the programme, he expressed his sincere gratitude to Pu H.C. Lalengkima, Executive Member in charge of the Land Resources, Soil and Water Conservation Department, for providing the opportunity and making arrangements for the successful conduct of the one-day training.

The training covered both theoretical and practical sessions on rubber tapping, processing and plantation management. The resource persons were Pu Peter Biakthansanga, DSCO, Land Resources, Soil and Water Conservation Department, Lawngtlai District, and Pu Ramnghaka of Sihtlangpui.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Pu Eriq Zonunsanga, ASCO, Land Resources, Soil and Water Conservation Department, LADC. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the resource persons for sharing their knowledge and expertise. He also stated that it was encouraging and greatly appreciated that all the staff of the Land Resources, Soil and Water Conservation Department, LADC, were able to participate in the training.
